Are your products really handmade?
Yes, all our products are handmade - one item at a time for better quality control.

 

What makes your products eco friendly?
We use organic and natural ingredients, most found in our home state of Virginia. We will never use harsh chemicals or package products in plastics. You can compost the packaging.

 

What is the difference between commercial soap and your soap? We love this question.

Here is Dove's ingredient list: Sodium Lauroyl Isethionate, Stearic Acid, Sodium Tallowate or Sodium Palmitate, Sodium Stearate, Water, Sodium Isethionate, Lauric Acid, Sodium C14-C16 Olefin Sulfonate, Sodium Cocoate or Sodium Palm Kernelate, Fragrance, Sodium Cholride, Dipropylene Glycol, Tetrasodium EDTA, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Blue 1, Red 33, Titanium Dioxide.

Here is Truly-Life's ingredient list: Vegetable Shortening, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Distilled Water, Cocoa Butter, Essential Oil.

What does that matter?

• Animal fats can clog pores.

• Chemicals hardeners have odors which require high levels of fragrance to mask the odor.

• Chemicals are required to bleach or color the soap.

All of these chemicals strip the skin of natural oils and pollute the environment at the manufacturing facilities and water treatment plants after soap use.

What credit cards do you accept?
We accept Master Card, VISA, American Express, Discover, or you can use a PayPal account. All transactions are made on the secure financial site of PayPal, but you do not need a PayPal account to purchase through the site. Truly-Life does not have access to any financial information.

M Runion LLC is the parent company of Truly-Life.

 

Why is everything in a solid form?

Liquid based products are often 70% water. Water adds weight to a product and to the shipping costs of that product. Liquid products also require a glass or plastic container. Not everyone will recycle those containers. We have tried to make our process and products as green as possible, using solid forms and packaging you can compost.

 

Truly-Life does not test with animals or use animal ingredients.
